Once you approve the unlock request on the mobile device, your vault automatically unlocks in the browser. Each time you launch your desktop browser with the Norton Password Manager extension installed, a vault unlock request notification is automatically sent to your registered mobile device. The Mobile Unlock feature lets you unlock your Password Manager vault using a desktop browser by approving a notification on your mobile device. Set up Mobile Unlock for Norton Password Manager If you previously set up Mobile Unlock feature for your vault.you may be able to use that to unlock your vault. You may then use your vault to store your logins, passwords and login URL’s for other sites you access and use. It is your sole responsibility to remember and keep your vault password. We do not store or keep your vault password so if you lose your vault password, we cannot recover it for you. To use Password Manager, you will need to create a vault. In the Vault Closed window, type different incorrect (any characters) password three times.įor example: type 1, 2, 3 + Enter.4, 5, 6 + Enter.7,8,9 + Enter from Norton Password Manager browser extension. Norton does not know your vault password. Or, you may delete your vault and use your same Norton account to start over. You may setup a new Norton account for use with a new vault.
